KX-TDA30 – MOH

Hi,

I have been asked to look at the external MOH options to get away from the default which sounds (to me) like a cheap jewellery box! Does anybody have any recommendations on which system to use? I have seen both CD and MP3 systems, or is it worth using a spare PC as a source?

you have 2 options, 1 is to change the music on hold source to tone or 2 is use a mp3 player(getting harder to get one that will play with the power connected to it for charging, keeps going into PC mode) or there or loads of music on hold units for telephone systems with SD card or memory sticks for the music, and they will automatically start up on power failure.

As for a PC, I dont think it is worth it, the lock up and wont auto restart after power down
