KX-TDA15e Maintenance console - free?

Hi all,

I have been given a Panasonic KX-TDA15e hybrid ip phone network (well it was being thrown into a skip and i rescued it!)

I have managed to plug in a usb lead and install the drivers onto a computer but I think i need a piece of software called KX-TDA15 maintenance console to do anyting worthwhile with it.

I am a newbie to this so my questions are:-

1. is this a free piece of software, if so where can I get it from?
2. if its not free is there a free equivalent that will do roughly the same things with a nice easy to use gui?

it is free for panasonic dealers, the 15e is a isdn system, what are you tring to do with it.

Well im looking to install it into a small home office type enviroment, but i dont have isdn coming in, does that mean its no use to me? I have 2 standard DEL's coming in?

You would have to look at the system and see what cards are on the system

ok it has a card in it for 4 digital phones, 8 analogue phones and a card for 2 BRI? BRI 1-2

Bri, That is isdn. you can buy a 2 co card but you won't get caller id

Hi thanks for the reply, ok can you let me know the card name I need? Caller ID is not really important to us, I assume that caller id will still work on extensions? ie extension 1 calling extension 2 it will come up with ex 1 on the display?

KX-TDA3183E is the card, and is at end of life so you may have to get a used one.

it will show internal cid between digital phones and slt phones if extra ext cid card in installed. it is by default
