Hi
Can anyone help. My customer has a KX-TDA100 with ISDN2 (Bri)after 10 mins external calls cut off? there is a bleep sound at 9 mins 50 secs and at 10 mins the call is cut.

It is running old software and I am upgrading them to v5.00 this weekend.
Has anyone experienced this and will the upgrade cure the problem.
I have scoured the programming to see if anything is set to cut at 10 mins without success?

the line supplier says nothing is set to cut calls at 10 mins with them.

Regards
Mike

there are known cutoff issues with early revs

This is really obscure, but scour over to 3.1.1 TRG settings and change the default Ext-CO 10 minutes to NONE.

I can't remember if there's something that triggers the timer or if it has just never happened in a TDA before, but that could be something :)

Thanks for quick reply, sounds like upgrade may cure?

Sorry LkEERie I was replying to cwc3 as your reply came in.

Thanks for that I will change to those settings and hopefully it will cure it.

that may clear your issue but don't count on it my duration settings are are at sitting at the default and I am looking at smdr to a call to ireland that was 24 mins and 8 secs so I am not sure what that timer does.....

There are a whole lot of notes and some 2.9 issues in the help files. Clearly, the system is doing something it was programmed to do, either by accident or on purpose :)

It's hard to test on this side of the pond, with not having ISDN, but something is whacked.
