Hi, we have a KX-TDA 200 phone system and are trying to forward all calls to extension to another extension. I have attempted to do this in the maintenance console and applied the setting under FWD but it is not forwarding the calls.
Can anyone help?

try doing it through the keypad it's not rocket science!

Hi
That is not the point, can someone advise how it is done through the maintenance console.

if you are not a dealer were did you get the console to begin with?that kind of stuff was covered on the first day!

HAVE YOU SET YOUR FORWARD TIMER TO A RESONABLE AMOUNT
OF TIME?

Hi, I have just started working at a company who has one of these systems. I was not here when they had it installed and they have had this system for a couple of years. I work in an IT role so do not have any experience of PBX systems.
As for the maintenance console, the software was loaded on to one of the servers when by the company who installed this system. We have no contract with the company that installed the system so I am just trying to find out how it works as they are expecting me to support this :-(

Anyway I set the forward timer to 2 seconds but still did not forward the call.

Ok, I have forwarded to an another extension using the handset and the *71 procedure and that worked ok.

But this does not help, the phone we want to forward is part of a Group, if we set a forward on a phone which is part of the group it forward the whole group to another extension.
We are trying to forward calls to one extension to another extension but the phone we are trying to forward is part of group, and when we setup a forward it forwards the whole group instead.
Does someone know who we can forward just one extension that is part of the group to another extension number?

what rev system is this thats why its not working you need a group intercept route its not called call forwarding for a group....

after reading your post closer you may no be able to do it.
i am suprised that when you forward one ext from the group that it works that way?

Hi Thanks for replying,
I may not have explained things very well, ok i will try to explain clearer.

We have 3 phones (3 extensions) which are part of a group.
When I try forwarding one extension which belongs to this group to another extension elsewhere then it does not forward the calls.

I have only managed to forward calls from a phone which is not part of that group.

Ok so I need a "group intercept route" is this easy to setup?

if it is a hunt group just look under hunt groups
under groups in maint console...
