KX-TD1232 phone compatibility

Ive looked for this a lot, but I don't see a clear reference on what series of phones (KX-T7???) actually work with the KX-TD1232
It looks like the 7? digit specifies the series of phones.

I found a KX-T7630 in the closet but it doesn't turn on when I connect it to the KT-TD1232.
I have KX-T72xx and KX-T74xx phones that are working fine with my system.

Is it broken, or only supported on the KX-TDAxxxx and later systems?

Only 72xx and 74xx series on the TD

I recall there were at least APT and DPT digital phones - I've not seen a definitive list of what works with what.

The PBX manuals only seem to show the current models but earlier and later phones may work.

Those pesky key phones that are compatible with the relic Kxt308/616 work on the TD but you need to disable the XDP port. This applies to UK.

Make sure you are using the second pair to connect. Some older Panasonic's need both pairs.

The KX-T76xx phones will only work on the KX-TD1232 systems if they have the newer processor and version 5 or higher.
I do believe the KX-T76xx phones will work on any KX-TD1232 but with limited functions.

Never seen a 76xx on a TD, only on a TDA.

KX-T72xx, KX-T74xx and KX-T75xx series Digital Proprietary Telephones (2-wired) and KX-T70xx, KX-T73xx, KX-T77xx (except of KX-T7735 model) Analog Proprietary Telephones (4-wired) are compatible with KX-TD1232 system.
