Hello,

After spending several hours going through the programmator and the manuals, it is unclear to me how to set the long distance code and how to use it. There are phones around our business with COS that have toll restrictions. I'm trying to create a code that managers can use to call outside those restrictions from such phones.

Any ideas?

When you get out the manuals, look up traveling class of service. It starts with a 47 access code.

LkEErie, did ye have that on the td1232?

We did not get that here until the TDA. but used account codes set to verify toll.

Yes, but I actually liked the restriction on the TA series better. There, you put a code in 310 (table of 20) and you could restrict all calls or toll calls at a phone. Then, you press a line or dialed "9" and a button flashes. You enter your 4 digit code and you get dial tone. In the TD, you dialed 47, a security code, the 3 digit extension, and 9. At least that's the way I remember it.

Fairly cumbersome. Of course the TA isn't as secure, but it's only 24 extensions max anyway. Does the TEM have something similar?
