if you can then its new to me i thought you had to have the programing software ... you should be able to get from your supplier..you can prog the panasonic v/mail from hyperterm are you sure your not mixed up on this

MR. shardian (Programmer) say that you can see it as below: Nah you can adjust the gain levels like you could on the old TD series. You just have to connect to the RS232 port with a null modem cable.
Start up hyperterminal or whatever and set your port settings to 19200 and Xon/Xoff
Hit the space bar. If the cursor moves, you're connected, so press enter.
You'll be prompted for a login...It's LOGIN
You'll be prompted for a password...It's 1234
You'll see this
MPR>
Type DPGAIN and press enter
You'll see a menu appear and you can choose certain items to edit.
VR1 = RX
VR2 = TX

By the way I find Panasonic voice mal complicate and I can’t get many feature so I use other type have more feature I get it from
The post that you've quoted above was actually for the newer TDA system. That post describes a method to adjust gain levels for the system, not actually program the system for anything else. The old TD series systems need software to program them. Even the gain adjustment is done through the software.
