KX-TCA185 address book on NS500 - How many entries?

Hello there, before buying a TCA185 handset, we would like to know how many phone numbers or contacts (a contact may have more than one phone number) this device can handle:
- within the phone memory
- from the NS500 centralised address book (that will be feeded by a LDAP server)

The official datasheet states "PS Phonebook Max. 500 items", but this is confusing...

Any idea?
