KX-TAW848 and multiple cell station configuration

Current configuration -
KX-TAW848 connected to a TVA50
2 KX-T0141 Cell stations connected to 2 of the 4 the hybrid ports
6 extensions on a TAW84876 8 port extension card.

Problem -
Everything works fine except that the system will not recognize the 2nd cell station. All the dip switches are set to off. I have swapped ports, devices, cables, etc. and still only one CS shows up connected in the programming screens.

This is a large house with a history of regular cordless devices not working upstairs in the back of the house when the transmitter is in the front of the house. So I put one cell station in the front downsairs and one in the upsatairs back of the house for full coverage. The CS in the rear upstairs is not registering.

Any ideas?

try swaping hardware around sounds like you have a bum
base unit

hey re-read your post seems like you have done all the
right things I hate to say it but you may want to get into
the que with tech support on this one.. do you have a red
alarm light ? the dips on both units are identical?

4 conductor line cords on each base you know that the CS
only run on black and yellow ?

I think the cell base unit is toast. I plugged it right into the CSU and no go. I ordered a replacement.

I can plug in a "digital" phone set to the same plug and it works, so the wiring is not suspect.

I was surprised, after working with the TDA, to find the TAW used 2 pair for the phones - then I remembered . . . one is digital and one is analog.

yep even the 7400 series phones only need a pair to run on
in the td/tda world .and the 2 conductor cord thing has bit
me a few times in the past
