I've got a KX-TA824 with CO Line #4 set to ring a group of extensions.
Existing conditions: CO|Incoming/Outgoing|CO Line Number 4|Ringing for incoming CO calls [Immediate].
PT and SLT is plugged in parallel into extension Jack 01.
1) If a PT (Panasonic proprietary Telephone) is plugged into the port as "Paralleled Telephone", all SLT's ("Single Line Telephones", i.e. POTS) ring except the one with the PT.
2. If I unplug the paralleled PT, the SLT (POT's) phone on the same jack (01) rings when a call comes in on CO line 4.
{TE824_Firmware_3.0.3I}
Thoughts, opinion's, questioning why I'm bothering with analog phones?
Actually, please disregard that last point about analog phones. I'm an old Bell Telephone guy putting in way too many analog phones in my home, just to recreate the "good old days". Ahhh... the good old days of MF signaling, 2600hz, TSPS, Crossbar #5...
