I am looking at the above PBX, the system rings once and then drops the call. The system will still make outgoing calls and transfer around the house. The exchange line is fine as I have tested with an analogue phone. Any ideas please.

What happens if you try to answer it anyway? Does the lite stop flashing? What does the calling party hear or are they cutoff?

What incoming parameters are programmed for that line?

Need more input to offer some solutions.

what happens if you plug a single line set into the network interface?

Try unpluging all phone then plug one at time to see if you have a bad PT Telephone Set.{ You can unplug it at the each phone at the KSU that way you don't need to run up & down .

I had a TA308 do something like this ,ring 1 or 2 time and stop ringing the callers report that it sounded like there was someone there but they couldn't talk to anyone. this was an intermittent fault that only happened on weekends and first thing in the morning on week days

after a week of scratching my head I discovered that the Cordless phone(in the I/C ring grp)was set to answer when it was picked up from the charging cradle, the phone vibrated so much in the cradle that it was coming off the contacts and answering the call(fault was intermittent because it was used off the cradle on weekdays and put on charge after night switching to the answering machine.

My point is that you really need to look at all possible info when looking for Faults
