KX-T308 EASA PHONE - URGENT HELP!!! mode issue

Hey all
i have the above PBX
i have tried a few modems.. one is V.92 with voice and the thing is when i call the extension with the modem, the modem wont recognize it rings.. tehrefore, it wont pick up the call...
only 1 modem out of 4 i have, which is very old, would pick up the call...
i heard there should be a configuration made...
but i have no clue which!
please help me! itrs very imporatant

yes look for distictive ringing seting for modem most have them now

I dont have that option...
are you sure there is nothing to do in the PBX, only in the modem???

hey you are talking about original kxt 308 analog right
have you read through the install manual?

Yes.. analog.
you were right about Distinctive ring..
my modem now shows it.
but still unable to recognize it as RING.

i dont have installation manual.
but if you can tell me what option to change there, it would be more than helpful!

download but I can tell you I doubt theres any data field that will help you on the old analog!!
