kx-t1232 music on hold problem

When a call is being transfered the calling party doesn't hear any music. The background music works ok when the number one button is pressed on the dial pad of a panasonic phone.
Any idea of how I can turn on the on hold music?

Program number 803
in program mode
enter 803 then NEXT(for MOH) enter music source number (eg 1) press STORE
that should do it

The system in program mode accepts only to digit program numbers, for example 00 for the date and time setting.
How do I enter the three digit code 803?

all you should have to do is plug in a source as far as I know!!is this a 123210 or 11D

I think it is a kx-t123210D, but I'm not sure. How can I check?
Is there a difference?

if you can take the cover off and see individual cards then its a 123211d

it should also be stamped on the nameplate

diffrent system ...diffrent programing

There are 4 cards with 8 extentions each and 3 cards with 4 trunks each. I guess it is a 123211d then.
Any news for the MOH is welcome.

easy way see if you get a response from field 80 and 81
fyi a 123210 looks nearly the same as a -3 it has no
doorphone adapter rectangular molex on the cpu card
and if it is a 11d it should have a sticker with a 3 on it

I just went thru the manual and I dont see any programing for moh on the 123211d

if background music is there then moh should be

does a caller on hold heare music ?

is it only transfred calls that dont ?

how are you transfering ? is it thru a auto attendent if so what kind ?

you are right now that I think about it 1 on the keypad
and you get white noise from the bgm input with no way in programing to shut it off!!
