KX-NT701 external microphone required

A few months ago Panasonic discontinued the NT701 external microphone that connects to the NT700 conference phone. Does anyone know the pinout for the device? I'm wondering if an external mic from another product may be adapted to work on the NT700, or perhaps someone knows where a few NT701 units may be found.
