I have a client that is upgrading from a TDE100 to NS700 so they can use their existing KX-NT343 phones without the VPN's as the remote sites are all different and VPN's keep dropping. Someone said the NT343 would not work on the MRG with the NS700 and only the NT500 series would. I have connected my test phone from my office to an NS700 and it seems to work. Can anyone confirm if there is a problem with using the NT343's on the MRG and if so what it is?

Yes only the nt5xx will work on media relay and the 543 has to be above v1

It was not designed to transverse the nat of the firewall or use the media relay
