KX-NS700 Firmware Germany

Hi everyone,

I’m in need of the Version 9 firmware for the Panasonic KX-NS700. My dealer, unfortunately, has stopped operations, just like Panasonic, and I am struggling to transition from ISDN to IP telephony.

Currently, my KX-NS700 only has 4 SIP trunk licenses, which is far from sufficient for my needs. I’ve read that the Version 9 firmware unlocks all licenses, and it would be a tremendous help if someone could provide me with a link or guidance on how to access it.

I’d be really grateful for any assistance or direction you can offer. Thanks in advance for your support!

EMJP posted a link to v9 firmware for both the basic cabinet and the expansion cabinet. There is also a link there for v9 maintenance console as well as some other firmware for cards, etc See this thread.

You may want the latest manuals to go with the v9 firmware. See this thread for the download link and the password to unlock the manuals. I don't if the password will unlock the German language manuals or possibly a translated password???

Hi everyone,

First of all, I want to thank Marticom for the help! The update to KX-NS700 Version 9 was successful, and everything is working well. I really appreciate your support!

However, I am now facing another issue. The phones at my remote location, which connect via VPN tunnel, only stay connected for 30-60 seconds before disconnecting. On the other hand, the phones in the same local network are working fine without any issues.

Do I need to update the firmware on the phones as well? Are there firmware updates available for them?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The phones that are experiencing the issue are KX-NT556 and KX-NT553.

Does anyone know if there are firmware updates available for these models that might solve the VPN disconnect issue?

There is also a link for KX-NT550 firmware within the same post as the v9 firmware you downloaded. I have no idea if that will resolve your issue or not.
