I noticed a 3 year old thread on here regarding the echo issue on the NCP-500 but no useful information was posted.
I’m experiencing an echo on KX-NT343 IP phones when using an analogue trunk (LCOT4). The echo is at the beginning of every call, fades out after a few seconds and is then intermittent throughout. This happens only on the NT343 and not on the DPTs or SLTs connected to the NCP-500.
I have tried adjusting the gain on the DSP & IPEXT32 cards but to no avail. I have also tried tweaking the EC & NLP settings but this has made no difference.
There are no bandwidth issues on the network and QoS is geared toward voice.
Has anyone experienced this issue and successfully solved it? Please let me know what settings on the above cards are working for you and if you’ve changed any of the jitter values.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Hugo
