I am in the process of upgrading my rack KVM's and I have a question. The PS2 cables I am using are about 15ft long and most of the new KVM's come with 7ft - 10ft cables and are not long enough. I am wondering if I will have issues using the current cables with a new KVM?

Anyone experience anything like this?

Probably no more than you were having with the old KVMs. Over about 5 feet leads to deterioration of the picture, getting worse the longer the cable. Then again, you may not notice it.

Give the wrong symptoms, get the wrong solutions.

Since you are upgrading why not use a CAT5 KVM extender? You can go up to 150m with these. Just google for CAT5 KVM extender - you get about 290K hits.
