ksu 6 X16 on analog set wires

I want to install the above norstar ksu in an older office that has the red green yellow black phone wires all run in a home run setup. Will these wires work to connect the sets to the ksu, or do I need to replace them with cat 3e twisted pair wires. Has anyone done this with good results, the runs average 30 - 50 feet. Its only 14 sets so rewiring is not a huge deal, but I want to spend as little as possable. I also want the phone to be static free. Any advice, suggestions would be appreciated.

Each set only erquires one pair (red / green )
You should be able to get away with the existing quad (four wire). Make sure the jacks are clean and the screws are tight and there are no staples in the wires for static free operation.
