I would like to ask if <B>K+R's</B> classical book about <i>C</i> is a good choice for a <u>beginner</u> like me.
 
It's an excellent C book. Hard to say whether or not it's a good book for a beginner. Some people say not, but I know of beginners that think otherwise. If you want to learn C you should get it at some point in any case.

I agree with Russ, K&R is a good book. When I was beginning, I liked the &quot;C&quot; Primier by the Wait Group. I think the later editions are now called the &quot;C&quot; Primier Plus.

I started out with K&R and don't regret it.

Do the exercises at the end of each section. That is where I learned a lot of solid programming constructs.
