I am new to Korn shell, can anyone give me ideas on how i can start scripting , do i need to go on a course, if so can you recommend me a course?

i am in the uk - the ibm korn shell courses is very expensive and unafordable.
is there anyone else hosting kornshell courses? I am a complete novice
