Known CS bugs?

I find a few problems with CS:

• slow respondiing text tool, once a few thousand words are in a document

• extremely slow performance when using text on paths

• Always crashes when I copy an item form one file to another, and then close the first file before saving again.

• General tendency to crash unexpectedly

If anyone can provide some answers on these points, it would be greatly appreciated.

It might be helpful if those more experienced than I knew what your computer setup is. I say this because, over the years, whenever I have similar problems with graphics programs (my background is CAD primarily with a little Flash, Frontpage and PaintShopPro thrown in), I could trace the problem to too little RAM and/or slow processor speed. Of course, I'm a Windows guy and if you're Mac, this may not apply.

Those problems could well be memory related.
What OS are you using?
How much RAM do you have?

I'm pretty sure this ain't a memory issue. No other functions are effected -just text.

OSX 667mhz G4 Powerbook - 1GB RAM.

No problems with Illy 10, (or freehand) - just with CS illy. I've read on another site that the slow text speed is a know problem with CS - due to Adobe changing the way the app handles text.

Supposedly the next version of Illy will address this issue. Hmmmm.
