Hi,
does anyone know where one can check to see if someone is really MCSE certified? I was told earlier that there is a website somewhere that carries all the names of people who actually pass the all the tests. Also, do they receive a certain certificate that can't be copied somehow?

You get a certificate, but its easy to copy. You can use the transcript tool to log in at if you have already set yoursefl up / registered. Then you can show people on screen where it can't be forged.

Print outs are very easy to forge...

MS send credit card things out with your details on including the qualifications gained. Mine lists my name, my MS ID and my quals (MCP, MCSE). That should help reassure people.

But then again, it doesn't mean I'm any good. The only true way is a technical test... I love to give 'em...

I belive you can contact Microsoft at: MCPHelp@microsoft.com and request a transcript, if you know the MCPs number or possibly by name. I don't know if they actualy provide them to anyone, but it is worth a try. CJ
