Know issues upgrading 7.1 to 8.1

Good Day,

I'm looking for any information pertaining to upgrading from 7.X to 8.X.

Is this beneficial in the long run, disregarding the bug fixes which are obvious.

Example, reporting in 7.X appears to be ugly and very incomplete as well as it has a number of bugs that prevent proper reporting.

Any and all information would be gladly accepted.

What are you actually referring too?

Have you tried reading the tech notes pertaining to the 8.1 release? all the info is in there such as new features.

Monkey, I'm just looking for general issues others might have had when upgrading... I understand the features of 8.X.

Basically putting together a pros/cons of upgrading the software and hidden issues that could prevent a good upgrade.

I agree, there is no 7.1 and there will never be any.
Besides that ip office does not have any reporting, only CCR has.
I think you either are on the wrong forum or your question is incomplete.

If you have a question then make it as clear as possible:
What do you have now? Were do you want to got to and why?
And read the suggestions well and think it over before replying.

For a second time, I realize there is no 7.1. it was a typo and i didn't notice it till after, can we NOW put that to rest..heh

If my example was wrong, the point that I'm asking about, how fluid the transition from 7.X to 8.X is.

I never realized it has to be specific to one particular issue at hand. I'll go and read the forum rules. My bad.

Was simply asking people to share any issues that they had in upgrading. "Whatever" the issue was. If there is a direct thread that covers my question, please direct me to said thread and I will gladly read it.

Just make sure you order the correct licensing and apply them before you upgrade.
