Kmail Crashing

hi all..

i am trying to move some Outlook mail from *.dbx into Maildir with Kmail under KDE... all mail i have moved so far has gone great - except for one folder that keeps crashing Kmail when 1700 messages have been moved..

there are at least 10,000 messages in said folder.. any clues..?..

all help appreciated..
