When we enter an order for a kit, Macola prompts as to whether we want to explode the kit on the Pick Ticket, and Bill of Lading. We normally answer No and the kit components do not show on either document. The components do appear on the AR Invoice, though, even if we have answered No. Does someone know how to turn this off. We do not want to explode the kit components on our customer invoice.

Thanks in Advance for your help.

Bill,

I ran into this once. The problem was that someone had populated the end item code on theitem master with a value. Although the "valid" values for this field are K-Kit, F-Feature Option and blank, Macola allows you to populate this field however you choose.

Check to see if the items in question have a value in this field, and post back or emailif this is not your solution.

Don,

Thanks for the response. It was a litttle simpler than that. I wanted to reply so, we can mark this down for future reference. There is a check box in form designer in OE Invoice that you can check so that the explosion doesn't print. After much research, I found it. We don't have the best reseller in the world, and we have Netcellent and Peak enhancements. I am a former Macola consultant. The enhancements are kinda holding us hostage. We just upgraded from 7.5.102c to 7.5.103f. Two years worth of upgrades. We still have yet to figure out everything that has changed. I was happy to find this forum, and I am sure you'll be hearing from me often. I notice from prior posts that you are in the area where I grew up. (Mobile). I am in Los Angeles now. Thanks again for your help. Hope to talk to you soon.

Bill
