G'day *,
just wondering if any of you know how to kill a stubborn process. There are few of them with a "D" in the STAT column of the 'ps ax' command output. The man page for ps says this is an uninteruptible sleep but even with 'kill -9 PID', where PID is the pid of the process concerned, it does nothing.
Any tricks or do I have to give it the windows salute and reboot.
Thanks, Dave.
