My other question was... ;-)

Currently, I have a static web page from which I launch a popup window--using Javscript's window.open()... When this popup window appears, a Shockwave movie loads and runs in it. At the very end of the movie, the user clicks a Quit button in the Shockwave movie and the movie stops--using Lingo's quit. However, I was wondering if there is a way to tell the Quit button to kill the popup window that the Shockwave movie is running in (but not kill the parent window that launched the popup)...

Thanks!

sure is, have a javascript function (and VBscript for IE users, who I hope we all are)that has a command of self.close() (check for the syntax of the close command).
then all you have to do is call an external event (for VBscirpt) or openurl(javascript:functionname) for netscape from your shockwave movie.

sorry that this description is a tad crude but you should be able to work out the little details
