Hello
How can I put a stop to calender remindersin OUTLOOK2000 without going to each event and deleting it.Is there a pause or hold mode I can put the calender reminds into..

Thank you in advance for your help..

Are these reminders you previously dismissed and they just keep reappearing?

If so then you can stop this by deleting and recreating the Outlook profile. Then when you access your account you will get the reminders one more time but this time when dismissed they will be gone permanetly. joegz

These are events that are scheudled today and for days in the future.. and have not been dissmissed yet.I want to stop the futures reminders from opening as well.I dont want go to each event and delete it...

In OL2002(XP) I can do this:

Click Calendar in folder list > View (menu) > choose Events > 'select' using std. Windows selection techniques any/all events you want to delete > Edit (menu) > Delete

I don't think this is too different for OL2K. Try it and see. ----

I re-read your original post and thought maybe you just wanted to not be reminded not to delete the event. If so, again in OL2002 I can do this:

Tools (menu) > Options > Other (tab) > General Advanced Options (button) > Reminder Options... (button) > uncheck Display the reminder and Play the reminder sound.

If this isn't how it is done in OL2K search in help for setting reminder sound I'd bet it is buried there somewhere? [pc2] ----
