What are the consequences of killing an import session while it is running? What must I do before/after issuing the kill command from the shell for the imp pid? I know I will probably have to clear all the garbage in schema, but anything else to release resources, etc?

Oracle 8.1.7.0.0
AIX 4.3.3

Thanks for all the responses!

Simple killing the import process will take care of the OS resources used. The schema will be more tricky...

Hope that helps,
