Hello, in SQL 2000 I have a session that I killed, however it is not going away.
Code:
kill 67 with statusonly

SPID 67: transaction rollback in progress. Estimated rollback completion: 100%. Estimated time remaining: 0 seconds.
It has been like this (100%) for a couple of hours.

Why is it not going away?

Thanks
djj

What type of work was this SPID doing when you killed it?

Thanks

Thank you for the reply. Although I did not get the notification email yet I did find the problem.

The session had a EXECUTE master..xp_cmdshell that locked. Once the called program was killed the session ended.

By the way got the notification email while typing.

Thanks
Dana
