Kill processes created by sp_OACreate!!

Hi,

We're using a custom dll in a sp that is created using sp_OACreate, and for some reason it's hanging and not timing out. All transactions that use this dll are hanging!

Is it possible to kill the processes created using sp_OACreate, or do they run with in the sql server process?

Is restarting the SQL service my only solution?
