Kick out users in a multi-user Access DB

I am the administrator on a multiuser Access DB. Periodically I need to have exclusive access to the database. How do I kick out the other users?

Use a timer on a form in the frontend that checks a yes/no "shutdown" field in the backend. If the field is yes, then run an Application.Quit. You can also give a countdown til it shuts down to give users time to finish what they're working on.
