Is it possible to regenerate 3.0 Keycodes onto a 4.0 system?

Yes. When you did a 4.0 upgrade, you had to regenerate keycodes that were uploaded duing the upgrade process. If you provide Nortel's KRS website the particulars it is possible.

No, I have a 3.0 system and a 4.0 system. I want to transfer the 3.0 keycodes to the new 4.0 system by regenerating them to the 4.0 Sys ID.

Yes you can but it is not easy to get your vendor or Nortel to do it.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

The 3.0 system needs to be decomissioned for that to happen and the regen process will give you 3.X keycodes on the 4.0 system SYSID. You then would need to purchase the upgrade keycode to 4.0 and generate them that way.

Nortel does this for damaged or destroyed systems. You will be required to send in the MSC card as this is what the keycodes are registered against.Nortel can then provide keycodes for 4.0. With a good vendor you are given a ten day window to return the MSC card. It is possible that they will ask for the HD also. I told them to take a hike on that part.

you will need to upgrade you bcm to 4.0 and then contact nortel to do the regen of the k codes but 3.0 to 4.0 will not happen it has to be upgraded first.
call nortel krs to verify
