Hi All,
we have recently upgraded the nortel meridian system to CS1000E. For which we got a document with set of keycodes.
In that document, we have 25 keycodes (each one like "ABCD 1234 ABCD 12XY") for the new system (CS1000E).
Now Please suggest me, which keycode I need to use in symposium server config along with serial number. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Seshu Kumar.

Depends on the release of Symposium. 5.0 uses a keycode that they give you. 6.0 uses a license file.

the keycode for CS1000E that you received are for the PBX only.
your Symposium should have a differente keycode sheet .

hi,
thanks for your input. But actually when I checked SCCS documentation it is saying like,
- Type your serial number (for M1/Succession 1000 switches) or dongle number (for DMS/MSL-100 switches), and the keycode in the appropriate boxes
- Note: The serial/dongle number is used in the generation of the keycode. Make sure you enter the correct keycode for the serial/dongle number that
you have.

As my switch serial number got changed due to the upgrade (from M1 to CS1000E),s the ld 48 "STAT ELAN" is showing "APPL disabled"

Please suggest me, if there is any way to regenerate the keycode for SCCS based on the new Switch Serial number and correct me if I understood incorrectly.

Thanks again.

Seshu Kumar.

whoever provided you with the pbx upgrade should have know that you have a symposium. that way all the products associated with the old pbx serial gets updated and you're provided with a new set of keycodes based on the new serial number.

your option at this point is 1. make sure you did receive the new keycodes for everything. 2. make sure your vendor is or was aware the symposium and anthing else you might have. 3. only nortel can generate you new keycodes, so your vendor will have to contact nortel or if you're coam then you can call nortel order management and have them generate you new keycodes. 1-800-4-nortel, select option for order management.
