Keycode to retrieve original Sys ID ?

I understand there is a keycode Nortel offers to retrieve
an origional sysid. Yep, I didn't know sysid changes when
you downgrade. I have a test switch I use and "had" PRI when I downgraded to test some older software.... Oops !!!
Does anybody know how to get the keycode and what to call it when ordering? Thanks !!

If the keycodes were obtained by an authorized Nortel partner, have them contact ITAS and they will generate a new PRI keycode with the new SYSID. I have had it done a few times, usually due to power hits, and haven't been charged.

I actually had to do this today, yes this can be done by Nortel ITAS. I did exactly what you did, colotelco, I was testing an MICS did an upgrade then a downgrade and then an upgrade again and the Sys Id changed. Anyway, I called Nortel and just told them I did an upgrade and the Sys Id changed and that my keycode didn't work. What you'll need is your original Sys Id and the new Sys Id and they can generate a keycode for you to change it back to the original Sys Id, then of course you'll need the PRI keycode for the original Sys Id. I've had them do the same thing that Sprucegrover reccomended, but when I talked to them today they said they don't really like doing it that way because there is no real way to confirm you had the PRI code to begin with.

Thanks Spruce and Roldan.... will give a go!!!!
I have both the old sysid, passwords, and key codes from the
previous sysid. Made sure I kept them. I make my customers several copies of that info and keep in various places too. Thanks again !!!
