keycode req

got a quick question, I changed the dn legnth on a BCM50 from 4 digits to 3 all looked good the changes took and was able to complete the change, did a reboot and now the sets dont work its telling me that I need a keycode. am I going to have to go to Avaya an get another, did I do something wrong, my machine still shows all active settings and also shows me the old keycode.

It sounds as if it took some kind of hit when it went back to 3 digits. If all keys still show in the keycode section you might try a level reset and reenter the keys and reprogram.

If you mean when you lift the handset of the phone and it says keycode required,
Then you need to reboot again.

This can happen on bcm50 release3.

It's usually cured by a second reboot.

I've tried rebooting a few times with no luck, the weirder part is that the add on modules are working and look, the key code fro them seems to be fine.
I may have to go to avaya and regenerate the keycodes.
