I am using the Arcserve utilities (dbcheck, dbfix, keybuild, etc) on a schedule. Sometimes the KEYBUILD process takes SOOOOO LONG that I kill it by closing the cmd window dialog box. I'll assume this is NOT A GOOD THING to do.
Can anyone explain in plain english what happens when you kill a the KEYBUILD process before it ends? If it's bad, how bad and why?
Carpe diem, procrastination is the thief of time...
