hi people. got a problem with my pc again. all of a sudden, without any warning, my keyboard stopped working. it was a wireless so i thought the battery died but putting new batteries didnt help. i even brought a new keyboard today, but still no result. not getting any error messeges or anything, pc starts up normal. just no keyboard. using the on-screen keyboard which is annoying. tried using ps2 port and the usb, same again. all help is appreciated. thank u.

With power completely removed from the computer, try resetting the BIOS. Do this by either moving the CLR-CMOS jumper on the motherboard (if there is one), or removing the battery for a short while. This will put all settings back to manufacturers defaults, and might "reset" the keyboard controller which may have received a corrupt command.

See if that helps...

However, before you reset BIOS, check first if keyboard support has been disabled from there.

Maybe someone played a prank on you...
