Hi, I just upgraded redhat from version 7.2 to 9.

Now the hash key and pipe keys don´t work on my keyboard.
This is not only when x started but also from the command prompt.

The keyboard is a uk keyboard and my /etc/sysconfig/keyboard file looks like:

KEYBOARDTYPE="pc"
KEYTABLE="uk"

I have used redhat-config-keyboard ans set it to uk

My XF86Config file contains the following settings for the keyboard (although I don think this is affecting it as they keys don´t work when iḿ not using X)

Identifier "Keyboard0"
Driver "keyboard"
Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "gb"

Ok don't know if it helps but mine works ok and I have:

XF86Config:

XkbModel "pc102"
XkbLayout "gb"

And

/etc/sysconfig/keyboard:

Just this one line >>

KEYTABLE="uk"

I hope that helps

Good Luck
Laurie.
