When i boot up sometimes i get a keyboard error but i can still load windows and use everything (including keyboard) fine. Sometimes i boot up and keyboard error then windows freezes on load.

Keyboard works fine for sure. I tried to reinstall Win2000 but it freezes on installation. (the part where it loads perpheral devices... like keyboard/mouse). I then installed WinXP and that installed fine but i freeze EVERY time on startup.

It must be PS/2 port problem?? i dont wanna buy another mobo is there anything i can do? maybe PS/2 to USB converter and just use USB?

Or ius there ANOTHER solution? maybe nothing to do with PS/2 port?

I'd say PS2 port problem for sure. USB adapter may be OK although these do have problems at times, you may be better off to try a USB keyboard. All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door.

I went to CompUSA but they dont have PS/2 to USB adapters. ARe you sure they are made?

Now you mention it... no. I have a USB to PS2 adapter for a USB mouse but have not actually seen one the other way round All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door.

they do make a male usb to female ps/2. A company named Micro Connectors makes it, but good luck buying it from them. You can also find many of the same, but in cable form

is your mobo under warranty? you could get a wireless keyboard
