keyboard entries not excepted

I can see the cursor in the field so the form has the focus, but I cannot enter with keys.

I have keypreview on true and entered something in the keypress but that is not even activated.

The table/cursor/ textbox are not readonly, and everything is enabled.

It occurs when I switch from 1 form to another using code.
I use a show,activate and refresh of the form
If I leave the form and return the problem is solved.

Any ideas??

By any chance is the form.LockScreen property set to .T. ??????

Is the Object bound to a Control Source, and if the Control Source is a table/cursor/view are you in the correct Datasession and workarea??
