keyboard displaying wrong characters

hi everybody, i need some advice on fixing the below problem.

when i press shift+2 on the keyboard, the character " shows up instead of @. then when i press the " key, the @ character shows up instead of the " character.

it seems that @ and " have swopped places and i didn't install any keyboard driver.

any kind soul, pls advise on how correcting this problem.

Not a Nortel problem, but....

That's what mine does....that is UK English. I guess you are looking for US English as the default language.

I am sure the Win2k help function can tell you.

Thats right, If you open up Control Panel, then select Keyboard - you can choose your default language here.

It does sound very much like you have the US, instead of UK which is the default upon installation of 2k.
