sometimes I come across a download link where I can click and download immediately but nothing shows up when I right-click on the link.

Is it possible to copy the target using a keyboard command?
this is so that I can use download accelerator or keep the link for later.

this does not work

If I right click on the link, I get either nothing or a special dropdown menu customised by that website which does not include 'copy'

If everthing is correctly configured, a web site is not going to override your context menu unless you are running a java app.

If the java app is going to control your keyboard I do not think there is anything you can do.

Some websites write the code so you cannot right click on there links. It is some html or java or activex coding. I even had one pop up a message with a warning to stop that!
