I am from Brazil and I have an application running well in many machines. In portuguese we use the Code Page 850 in order to have access to all letters needed, like that obtained in HTML with á õ ç etc.
Most of my users are now using XP and I'm facing a problem:
Some of the machines are working OK typing the tilde and 'a' to get 'ã' (equivalent to ã. This occurs both in a DOS prompt line and in the text fields of the program.
Some other machines are doing it well in the DOS prompt but NOT in the text fields of the application. And remember, the .EXE is THE SAME, loaded form a network server.
I have checked all language and keyboard options between the two machines and could not find the difference. (my users are getting angry with this problem)
Does anyone can help me?
