keybd_event API

Hi,

I have a VB program which I want to execute as a scheduled task. The VB program should pass keystrokes to another application.

Can the keybd_event API be used to achieve this?

Would this API work (considering I use a scheduled task)if the machine is shutdown or the user has logged off?
