Key system CLI on key

Wonder if someone an help me

I remmeber a while ago when the 5340's first came out, when you programmed a key system key and a call came into that key it used to show the CLI on the actual key (as well is at the top).

Does anyone know if that still works? Can't for the life of me get it to work, it's been a while since i have done it

The scenerio i have is that i have a customer with multiple keys system keys and thjey put multiple calls on hold but they don;t know which call his held against which key.. if you know what i mean so i wanted to test to see if the cli would stay agianst the key when on hold.

But then they would have to remember the CLI info to know which call to pickup. The CLI against a key appearance is a COS option I believe.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

yeah i know but it's a start for them

Yeah i can't find it, the display ani/dnis for keylines just puts it in the main display not the key. It definately used to work on the 5340's

Would think it would be "Display Caller ID on multiline/keylines" if that is not it I am not sure.

Make sure you make the keys "float", this is also necessary to see the info on top of screen. With a 5340 1st you need to enable the set to float, then program the keys to float. Thanks.

yeah loopy tried that option whilst it gives the CLi the CLI only appears at the top of the display not against the key like i would like, which i have had working in the past

I remember the same as you do how it used to be. I also remember some customers bitching about it because they didn't like it. It wouldn't surprise me is someone submitted a request to change it and they did.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Glad it's not just me! Thought I was going mad!! But hopefully it is still there somewhere! Just a cos option would have solved it and give people the choice
