I'm using a newish Dell laptop. It seems to have features like the Apple/some of the mobile phones for zoom in and zoom out. It also seems to have some sequence for creating gigantic cursors, which seem to return to normal after it resumes from the screen saver. It appears every so often but I can't remember what I pressed or whether part of my right or left palm was on the touchpad when it happened.

Does anyone know what the key sequence is for creating these gigantic cursors? I can't find it in the manual. They're really useful for presentations.

Under the Mouse Applet in the Control Panel, the Properties may have a Pointers Tab. Is there anything in there?

Is gigantic bigger than large, on my machine large seems to equal twice the normal default size of a Cursor?

You also have "Make the Mouse easier to use" in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center\Make the mouse easier to use.

What options are available to you if you right-click on any Touchpad or Pointing Device icon in the Notification Area?

Just did some searching on the net. Apparently it is a bug in the ATI display adaptor. Pity: I thought it was a feature.

I had a look in the mouse applet stuff: nothing there.

The cursor is the height of two lines. In your previous post, it stretches from the top of Under to the top of Is. The width is about the size of 4 letters. When the scroll cursor comes on, it is the height of 4 lines.

Nothing in Making the mouse easier to user or touchpad options.

Guess it really is a bug. All they said is wait for a new driver. I think they ought to offer it as a feature and give us a key sequence to get it on demand.

That zooms the text but not the cursor size. I can get that by using the pinch gesture.
