Hi all

I have one small doubt

In the key programming of MD110, we can programm numbers 0-9 and A&B for * and #.

But if suppose i want to put a pause after accessing the line what is the character for that?

eg: I want to dial access code 9 and then wait for some time to get the telephone line and after getting the dial tone dial 1234567890. how this could be done?

Hi

Many ways to perform this
1/NAPTS command
2/Common Abbreviated numbers, ADCOI
3/Individual abbreviated number ADINI
4/According to alex, for the abbreviated numbering by procedure *51*digit (0-9)*telephone number#, the telephone number can be up to 20 digits plus * for second dial tone from public network.

This is not a standard feature, it's depend of the application systems !!!!!!

From Alex ( here TSW ):

The parameter states the complete, translated number for an abbreviated number.
A represents * and B represents #.
In the case when a PTS signal is to be detected, its place in the complete number shall be stated with C, D, or E.

C Normal PTS. If time-out occurs the sending of digits is continued with the same type of register signalling as before time-out.

D PTS followed by DTMF sending of digits. If time-out occurs the sending of digits is continued with DTMF register signalling.

E PTS followed by DTMF sending of digits. If time-out occurs no more digits will be sent and the trunk line is disconnected.

I think you didn't understand what my doubt is

I want to program it to a key in the phone.

i agree that, i can assign it to one abbreviated no and assign that abb no to a key.

but still i doubt putting one or two pauses after the access code cannot be achieved

I want to program one key as : 9, one pause, 502124569.

Hi

I agree with Mundus that the PTS detection is depending from Application system.

However, I never suceed to convince Ericsson to adapt the APS to the market.

BUT, if you look at the description of the letters, if no PTS is detected, there is a timeout.

That's what I am using so far to have it working.

You have to take care that the code you are using before the letter will not provide a call connection, because in that case it will not work.
