I have read the manual i dont quite really understand the difference between the two because im new to the avaya system does anyone got any idea to have a easier explanation.?

Key mode, each line is on it's own button.

Hybrid mode, lines can be grouped into "pools" and will have multiple line on a button.

The system modes should be explained in one of the manuals. There will be a list of features unique to each mode of operation. Check the TOC or index.

Also read old posts on this and other forums, you can gleen lots of info or at least get a better idea or a tip that may help you.

Hope this helps!
